‎ Vector Pick Tool

 

The vector pick tool allows you to select two points within the viewport window. The resulting delta vector between the two points is then recorded in the corresponding delta-x, delta-y, and delta-z text boxes next to the Vector Pick Tool Button.

 

The vector pick tool will be affected by changing the Pick Tool Options, just as with the Point Pick Tool.

 

You can use the vector pick tool any time you see the following button -

 

Most commonly the tool is used when translating a project item from the Edit Items tab and scaling an image in the create geometry capability.
