in:Flux Cloud Credits
in:Flux Cloud lets you compute an entire in:Flux project without local hardware or managing solver files. When you send a project to in:Flux Cloud, a virtual machine is deployed for each individual simulation and all cases run in parallel, so the whole project completes in roughly the time of its longest simulation (plus upload and download time). Once the simulations are complete, the virtual machines are deleted, keeping your data secure. This makes in:Flux Cloud especially well suited to large projects. In a recent in:Flux Cloud webinar, 1,300 cases completed in under 30 minutes.
Access to in:Flux Cloud is measured in Cloud Credits. One Cloud Credit allows one simulation to be run, so a project with 100 simulations uses 100 credits. Cloud Credits are licensed per credit and issued to an existing in:Flux license. in:Flux Cloud and Cloud Credits are available with in:Flux v4.0 and later.
Why credits instead of CPU hours
in:Flux Cloud uses a flat rate of one credit per simulation rather than charging for CPU time, for two reasons:

Costs are easy to estimate — you know exactly what a project will cost before you start.

Credits are tied to individual simulation runs, so they can be written off directly to the project.
Purchasing credits
To add Cloud Credits to your license, contact us at sales@insightnumerics.com. Credits are applied to your existing in:Flux license, so no separate license key is required.
Viewing and using your credits
Your available credits are shown in the upper-left corner of the Cloud Manager. When you send simulations to in:Flux Cloud, one credit is used for each simulation in the run. If your license does not have enough credits for the selected simulations, the Cloud Manager will notify you so you can adjust the run or purchase additional credits.
