Inflow Groups and Multi-Phase Evaporation

in:Flux only performs simulations in the gas phase as of v2.13. That being said, it can still be used to simulate evaporating liquids. However, it does not automatically calculate properties such as the evaporation rate, or features of multi-phase releases such as rain-out. Those can normally be done using Excel, (or other specialized software), the output of that calculation can be used as described below.

Inflow Group can also be used to simulate multi-phase leaks - one leak representing the leak location and the other representing the evaporating pool.

Below shows two inflows: a Custom Gas Emission (in the shape of the evaporating pool) and a High Pressure Release. The flow rate of the evaporating pool can be defined at very low values and then paired with the high pressure release (via an inflow group) to be calculated simultaneously.

The meshing will adapt for both of the inflows as the simulation progresses.

Once completed, results can be viewed for the combined inflow group with isosurfaces, monitor point, monitor lines, etc...
