in:Flux Tutorial 17 - Transient Fire Simulations

By default, in:Flux simulations are set to be steady-state. For some projects having a time component is necessary. This tutorial will go over setting up a transient jet fire simulation as well as defining an inflow with an emergency shutdown (ESD). Upon completion of the simulations, the change in concentrations of various variables with time will be reviewed.

In this tutorial you will learn:

  • How to setup a time dependent (transient) jet fire simulation

  • How to review and plot transient monitor point data for variables associated with fire simulations
